MG ZS EV Finally Launched In Nepal!

MG Motor Nepal has launched the pure electric version of its ZS Compact SUV, the ZS EV.  The ZS EV comes at an aggressive price tag of Rs. 49.99 lakhs which includes a 7KW AC charger, making it one of the most affordable all-electric compact SUV in Nepal. Followed by a press meet, the company has handed over 40 units of the ZS EV  to customers within this week. The company had opened pre-booking for this variant in July and has received over 150 bookings in Nepal.The electric motor delivers 147 BHP of power and 350 Nm maximum torque and is powered by a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be charged upto 80% within 30 minutes. The ZS EV promises a maximum range of 428 km on single charge as per the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) and a 8 year or 150,000 km warranty in battery life. The ZS EV ensures safety with 6 airbags, features a premium panoramic sunroof and comfortable electrical adjustable seats, and a PM 2.5 air filter to purify the air inside the cabin.[gallery size="full" ids="13509,13510"]Besides that, it also features three driving modes and three levels of regenerative braking. It also gets an 8-inch touchscreen includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The ZS EV can go from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.5 seconds. Other features include bi-function projector headlights (automatic) with LED DRLs, multi-function leather steering wheel, adaptive cruise control, and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.[gallery size="full" ids="13511,13512"]Commenting on the occasion, Sachin Aryal, General Manager, Paramount Motors Pvt.
